THE WHAT

ARE YOU A CANDIDATE?

Perfect candidates for BBL are individuals seeking to address unwanted brown or red spots, as well as pigmentation on the skin’s surface—commonly a result of prolonged sun exposure over the years.

THE HOW

broadband light therapy

HOW IT'S DONE:

BBL precisely delivers light energy, simultaneously heating the upper skin layers. This process stimulates collagen production, resulting in noticeably tighter and firmer skin. During this process, the targeted areas absorb heat, prompting skin cells to regenerate and enhancing the body’s natural ability to combat the visible signs of aging.

RESULTS, RECOVERY, FREQUENCY

A BBL provides you with no downtime and results that lasts for a few months after 1 or 2 treatments. It is recommended to do 3 or more treatments each year. As a result, you will notice smoother, firmer, refreshed and rejuvenated skin.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

It is possible to experience some redness in the treatment area. This should resolve within a few hours.

You may notice darkening of your pigmented spots, followed by fading and flaking off at a later stage.

You are able to apply make-up, return to work and resume most of your activities immediately.

THE AFTER

PRE-OP INSTRUCTIONS

Come in as is!

POST-OP INSTRUCTIONS

Cleanse the skin two times a day with plain, lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser. Use your hands and fingertips to cleanse using gentle patting motions. DO NOT rub, scrub, use an exfoliant soap or skin care brush, e.g. Clarisonic in the treated area.

Moisturizer should be applied generously with clean hands over treated area and reapplied whenever your skin feels dry.

Use sunscreen with Broadband UVA and UVB protection and a SPF of at least 30 daily with reapplication. DO NOT expose your skin to direct sun exposure for 14 days. The treated area is more prone to sunburn and pigmentation change.
