THE HOW

HOW IT'S DONE:
BodyTite™, utilizes Radiofrequency Assisted Lipolysis (RFAL) for a comprehensive single-treatment solution. This innovative approach not only melts and removes fat but also coagulates blood vessels to prevent bleeding and tightens the skin. The handheld device seamlessly operates above and below the skin simultaneously, working internally to tighten tissue and externally to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
After the area is numbed, Dr. Politis makes tiny incisions to facilitate the probe’s entry, emitting radiofrequency heat energy to target tissues. The probe is then passed over the skin’s surface, triggering collagen and elastin production. Throughout the procedure, monitoring of heat levels ensures patient safety and precise coverage of the treated areas.
RESULTS, RECOVERY, FREQUENCY
You can expect a full recovery in up to 3 weeks. After this point, you can achieve a permanent result if you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
You may experience temporary redness and swelling that can last up to 3 weeks.
This is rare but it is nothing to worry about.
Bruises occur in some people and can last 1 to 2 weeks.
Some patients report a burning sensation, tingling or a tightening sensation in the treatment area for up to 3 months.
Final results can take up to 6 months to show, however results will be visible immediately after the procedure.
Tiny scabs may appear during the healing process. Please do not pick at the scabs.
Burns and changes in pigmentation are rare although it may occur. If you notice small white bumps, they may take a few weeks to resolve.
Tylenol and Ibuprofen may be alternated for pain control.

THE AFTER
PRE-OP INSTRUCTIONS
Have a light breakfast 60-90 minutes prior to coming into the office.
Once you’re here, we’ll take photos and you’ll be given a cozy gown, an oral electrolyte, an antibiotic, anti-nausea medication, and a light oral sedative.
POST-OP INSTRUCTIONS
Tylenol or ibuprofen is given for any post-op discomfort.
You’ll be placed in a soft garment.
We’ll give you specific post care instructions to take home.
EXERCISE: No heavy lifting or exercising for 3 weeks.
