HOW IT'S DONE:
Dr. Politis starts by injecting a small amount of Botox directly into the underlying muscle, causing the muscle to relax. After 5-7 days, you will notice the overlying skin start to smooth out.
RESULTS, RECOVERY, FREQUENCY
There is no downtime after Botox. Results last anywhere from 2-6 months. Come back as you please.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Slight bruising at the injection site after Botox might occur.
This treatment may take a while to show results due to various factors, but typically, you’ll start noticing changes within 15 days. One reason for the delay is that everyone’s body has different levels of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that affects muscle contractions and is influenced by stress.
The medication works by blocking the release of acetylcholine. However, it doesn’t affect any existing acetylcholine in your muscles before treatment. So, it takes time for your body to naturally remove this pre-existing acetylcholine. This process usually takes a week or two. Once it’s gone, you’ll start seeing more noticeable results as the medication can then relax your muscles more effectively.

For the first 24 hours avoid:
