Zoom SMAS Facelift
WHAT it is:
The Zoom SMAS Facelift is an in-office procedure that uses minimal incisions to correct and lift sagging cheeks, jowls and the appearance of a double chin. Similar results to a surgical SMAS facelift can be achieved during this procedure. But, what’s the upside to having this done in office? It can be done less invasively. This approach uses a few different customizable modalities with little downtime to create your desired look!
HOW it’s done:
These customizable modalities synergistically work to improve the overall appearance of the face and neck. They include micro-liposuction for slimming and contouring, FaceTite RF and Morpheus8 for tightening and BBL for retexturizing.
WHAT to expect:
You may experience temporary redness and swelling that can last up to 3 weeks. This is rare but it is nothing to worry about.
Bruises occur in some people and can last 1 to 2 weeks.
Some patients report a burning sensation, tingling or a tightening sensation in the treatment area for up to 3 months.
Tiny scabs may appear during the healing process. Please do not pick at the scabs.
Burns and changes in pigmentation are rare although it may occur. If you notice small white bumps, they may take a few weeks to resolve.
Tylenol and Ibuprofen may be alternated for pain control.

Stay awake with local anesthesia and happy pills.

PRE-OP instructions:
Have a light breakfast 60-90 minutes prior to coming into the office.
Once you’re here, we’ll take photos and you’ll be given a cozy gown, an oral electrolyte, an antibiotic, anti-nausea medication, and a light oral sedative.
PRE-OP instructions:
Tylenol or ibuprofen is given for any post-op discomfort.
You’ll be placed in a soft head dressing consisting of gauze, fluffs, and a compression bandage. In 24 hours, this should be removed and replaced with a C collar.
We’ll give you specific post care instructions to take home.
EXERCISE: No heavy lifting or exercising for 3 weeks.
