APPOINTMENT

WHAT it is:

Aquagold is a stamp microinjector with 20 fine needles that deliver small doses of Botox, Hyaluronic Acid and PRF all in combination with each other. In other words, it’s like making a thousand little manual injections with a syringe. But instead, I’m actually putting the active ingredients where they’re supposed to go (deep into the dermis), which allows the treatment to be more effective and less traumatic to the skin.

HOW it’s done:

The skin is cleansed and the chosen ingredients are placed in the sterile tube of the Aquagold device. It is then pressed into the skin in an overlapping pattern to deliver the ingredients into the skin, not on or underneath it.

WHAT to expect:

Immediately after treatment, most patients will experience erythema (redness) for 1-3 days, however for more aggressive treatments this may last longer.

Slight to moderate edema (swelling) and a mild to moderate sunburn sensation are common post treatment and may last 1-3 days.

Skin may crust and peel for 2-7 days depending on treatment settings.

Stay awake with topical numbing.

No downtime.

Results can last 1-6 months depending on the chose ingredients.

PRE-OP instructions:

A numbing prescription will be sent to you. Apply it 90 minutes before your appointment.

POST-OP instructions

Avoid applying ice or heat to the treated area for 72 hours after your procedure

Avoid taking anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen for one week

Blood-thinning herbs, supplements, or vitamins for 3-4 days post-procedure should be avoided (Fish oil, CoQ10, Turmeric)

You may shower after your procedure but don’t take a hot bath or go to a sauna for the first few days post-procedure

Avoid aggressive washing of the treated area.

Avoid consumption of any alcoholic beverages for the first week post-procedure

Limit caffeine consumption for the first week post-procedure

Avoid smoking
