WHAT it is:
A Skinny Tummy Tuck, or Mini Abdominoplasty, is a surgical procedure meant for petite patients with less fat and skin to remove. Similar to a traditional Tummy Tuck, it removes excess fat and loose skin from below the belly button.
HOW it’s done:
It starts with a small incision made right above the pubic line, similar to a C-Section. Dr. Politis then tighten loose muscles, removes excess fat and skin to flatten and smooth the abdominal wall.
WHAT to expect:
You may experience temporary pain, soreness and numbness of the skin around your incision.
Maximum discomfort will occur the first few days.
You will have bruising and swelling of the abdomen and back. The majority of bruising and swelling will subside in 6-8 weeks.
You will leave the operation with drainage tubes. Expect soreness, numbness/tingling and swelling in areas of liposuction. This may last for 6-9 months.
You may feel tired for several weeks or months.
